Sacramento, California – Rain is already tapering off across the Sacramento Valley this morning, and drier air will take over within hours, setting up a stretch of calm, sunny weather through midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, skies will gradually clear Monday with highs reaching near 65°F. Winds remain light, and no additional precipitation is expected through at least Thursday, marking a sharp shift from the damp start to the day.

Sacramento, Elk Grove, and Roseville will all see mostly sunny conditions by the afternoon, with overnight lows dipping into the mid-40s under clear skies. Tuesday and Wednesday bring a steady warm-up, with highs climbing into the upper 60s and near 69°F by midweek. Calm conditions will support excellent travel and outdoor conditions across I-5, Highway 50, and surrounding routes.

By Thursday and Friday, temperatures continue to rise into the low to mid-70s, signaling a classic spring rebound. No major weather hazards are expected, and air quality should remain stable under light winds.

Residents can expect quiet weather through the workweek, with only a slight chance of rain returning by Sunday. No advisories are currently in effect, but updates will be issued if conditions change.
