Ohio Warm, Breezy Monday Upper 70s to 80, Winds, Isolated Storms

Wilmington, OH – Warmer and breezy conditions are expected today, with highs մոտ 80 degrees and a chance of storms.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, daytime high temperatures will reach the upper 70s to around 80 degrees, running 15 to 20 degrees above normal for this time of year.

Forecasters say southwest winds will create breezy conditions throughout the day. Peak wind gusts could reach around 30 to 35 mph in some areas.

In addition to the warmth, a chance of showers and a few embedded thunderstorms is expected later today. While widespread severe weather is not indicated, brief downpours and gusty winds may accompany any storms.

Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor items and remain aware of changing weather conditions, especially during the afternoon and evening hours.

The combination of wind and rain chances may impact commuters during peak travel times.
