Cities along the I-35 corridor, including Austin, San Antonio, San Marcos, and New Braunfels, may see repeated rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Southerly winds between 10 and 20 mph, with gusts up to 30 mph, may accompany storms and reduce visibility during heavier downpours. Areas west toward Del Rio and Uvalde could also see strong storms develop with brief intense rainfall.
