New Hampshire – Clouds are thickening quickly over Manchester this afternoon, and a soaking round of rain is moving in that will change road conditions within hours. Dry pavement won’t last long as visibility drops and steady rainfall takes over by evening.

According to the National Weather Service, rain develops with an 80 percent chance tonight and totals between a tenth and a quarter inch. Temperatures fall to around 41°F while winds shift south near 5 mph, creating a damp and chilly feel across the region.

Drivers along I-293, Route 3, and local roads should prepare for slick conditions and reduced visibility by the evening commute. Plan extra travel time and keep headlights on in steady rain. Puddling may develop in low-lying areas.

By Monday afternoon, a 30 percent chance of showers returns after 3 p.m. Gusts up to 25 mph could move through, especially on exposed stretches of highway. Conditions improve briefly later, but clouds linger into the evening.

Tuesday offers a noticeable shift. Temperatures jump to 79°F with partial sunshine, giving a break from the damp pattern. That warmth, however, comes with more unsettled weather building again.

Showers return Tuesday night and continue into midweek. Wednesday brings mostly cloudy skies with highs near 75°F, followed by a 50 percent chance of rain into the evening. Roads may stay wet through Thursday with additional scattered showers.

This active spring pattern keeps conditions changing quickly across southern New Hampshire. Keep rain gear nearby and check for updates as new advisories may be issued.

Five Day Outlook for Manchester, New Hampshire:
Today: Increasing clouds, high 57°F
Tonight: Rain, low 41°F (80% chance)
Monday: Chance of showers after 3 p.m., high 67°F
Tuesday: Partly sunny, high 79°F
