Orlando, FL – Three suspects wanted in connection with alleged thefts from cemetery niches across nine states have been arrested, according to an update from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Drake Lee Milam, 33; his girlfriend, Porsche Bancroft, 32; and Bancroft’s mother, Angela Garrett, 48, have now been arrested in connection with the investigation.
Sheriff’s officials described the case as involving disturbing thefts from cemetery niches across nine states. Authorities allege cherished items left with deceased loved ones were taken, and investigators believe there could be additional victims who have not yet been identified.
The sheriff’s office did not provide additional details in its latest update about where each suspect was arrested or the specific charges each person faces.
While announcing the arrests, investigators emphasized that the case remains active. Detectives are continuing their efforts to identify potential additional victims and determine the full scope of the alleged crimes.
Authorities are also asking families with loved ones resting at cemeteries to check their final resting places and make sure cherished items placed with them remain there.
The sheriff’s office said the arrests mark an important step toward accountability while acknowledging the emotional impact on families whose loved ones’ resting places may have been disturbed.
Anyone who believes a family member’s cemetery niche or resting place may have been targeted should document anything that appears missing or disturbed and contact the appropriate cemetery management or law enforcement agency.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information could be released as detectives work to determine whether more victims are connected to the case.
