Rutland, Vermont – A decades-old disappearance is вновь drawing attention today, as investigators mark another year without answers in the case of a man who vanished in Rutland County.
According to Vermont State Police, Edwin Peer, 43, of Clarendon, was last seen on April 8, 1981, and reported missing the following day. More than four decades later, the case remains unsolved, with authorities continuing to seek new information from the public.
The renewed alert comes as part of ongoing efforts to revisit cold cases across Vermont. Investigators hope that someone may recall details or come forward with information that could help piece together what happened.
