Midlothian, Illinois – Families across the south suburbs will have a chance to step inside their local fire station and meet first responders during a community event set to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 18.

According to the Midlothian Fire Department, the open house will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the station on South Pulaski Road, offering residents a hands-on look at firefighting equipment and daily operations. The event is designed to connect the community with local crews while promoting fire safety awareness.

Attendees can tour the station, explore fire trucks and gear, and watch live equipment demonstrations, several planned activities will also be available, along with food, refreshments, and vendor booths throughout the day.
