Huntsville, Alabama – A steady warming trend is underway across north Alabama, bringing comfortable afternoons and dry conditions through the end of the workweek.

According to the National Weather Service in Huntsville, highs will reach between 70 and 76 degrees today, climbing into the mid to upper 70s Thursday and approaching 80 degrees by Friday. Overnight lows will remain cool, dipping into the mid-40s to low 50s across the Tennessee Valley.

Communities including Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence will see sunny skies and quiet weather, making for ideal travel conditions along I-565 and U.S. 72. The lack of rain also supports outdoor plans, though dry conditions may gradually dry out vegetation.

The biggest day-to-day change will be the warming temperatures, with each afternoon feeling noticeably milder than the last. Light winds and clear skies will dominate, especially during the morning and evening hours.

Residents should take advantage of the calm stretch, as no significant weather impacts are expected through Friday. The dry pattern remains in place, with additional updates expected if rain chances return beyond the weekend.
