Black River Falls, WI – A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection to a March shooting incident in the Village of Taylor that left multiple vehicles damaged but no injuries reported.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 6:50 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, after receiving reports of multiple gunshots in the area. Witnesses reported seeing an armed man traveling through the area on a skateboard while yelling at a residence.

When deputies arrived, the suspect was no longer on scene. Investigators later found two vehicles at a residence that had been struck by gunfire. Authorities determined a small-caliber firearm was likely used, and that the vehicles—not people—were the intended targets.

Through video evidence and a tip from the public, deputies were able to identify a suspect vehicle. Automated license plate reader data also confirmed the vehicle’s presence in the area at the time of the shooting.

Seth Day, 24, of Whitehall, was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges including disorderly conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal damage to property, and multiple counts of bail jumping.

The investigation involved assistance from the Whitehall Police Department. Authorities remind the public that charges are accusations, and the suspect is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
