Hellertown, PA – Pennsylvania State Police are renewing their appeal for information in the unsolved killing of a real estate agent nearly 29 years ago in Northampton County’s Lehigh Valley region.
According to PSP Tips, Troop M investigators in Bethlehem continue to investigate the homicide of 40-year-old Charlotte Fimiano. A $5,000 reward is being offered for information that leads authorities to solve the case.
Fimiano, an agent with Weichert Realtors, failed to return home after showing a property to an unknown client on Thursday, Sept. 11, 1997, police said.
Investigators determined that her last known destination was a vacant home listed for sale at 2147 Chelsea Lane in Hellertown, within Lower Saucon Township. A law enforcement officer discovered her body inside the property during the early morning hours of Friday, Sept. 12, 1997.
Police said Fimiano had been strangled and shot. No arrest was announced in the renewed public appeal.
