Martinsburg, W.Va. – A late-night shooting outside a Berkeley County bar left one man hospitalized and triggered a rapid multi-agency response that led to arrests within hours.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 2:28 a.m. Sunday to Angel’s Bar and Grill for reports of shots fired. Investigators say suspects fired multiple rounds from a vehicle as it traveled along Winchester Avenue, striking a male victim in the stomach.
Authorities identified the suspects as Gabriel Gallourakis, 22, of Charles Town, and Austin Miller, 24, of Kearneysville. Surveillance footage shows the pair leaving the bar in a Nissan Sentra before returning and opening fire from the vehicle. The victim was transported to Berkeley Medical Center and is reported to be in stable condition.
Law enforcement tracked the suspects to a 7-Eleven in Ranson, where Jefferson County deputies assisted in taking both individuals into custody. The vehicle was seized as evidence.
Both men face charges including attempted murder and conspiracy and are being held at Eastern Regional Jail on a $65,000 cash bond. Officials say the investigation remains active, and additional updates could follow.
