Adams County, WA Drive-By Shooting: Victim Airlifted After Face Injury

Adams County, WA – Detectives are investigating a drive-by shooting that left one person with a gunshot wound to the face Saturday, and authorities believe the incident may be gang-related.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting occurred Saturday, July 11, 2026, in the 2100 block of W. April Street. Deputies responded after receiving reports that shots had been fired into a residence.

While deputies were responding, Othello Community Hospital notified authorities that an individual with a gunshot wound had arrived for treatment.

According to the sheriff’s office, the victim suffered a gunshot injury to the face. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and the victim was later airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for additional treatment.

Investigators said evidence gathered so far indicates the shooting appears to be gang-related. Detectives continue to collect evidence and work to identify those responsible.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
