Sullivan County, TN – Authorities are asking for the public’s help locating a missing woman who walked away from a residence Tuesday morning and may be unable to return home safely because of a medical condition.
According to the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies are searching for Dian Gantt, who left a residence on Deck Valley Lane around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators said she was walking home to the 1900 block of Highway 11 West but has not been located.
The Sheriff’s Office said Gantt has a medical condition that may impair her ability to safely return home, prompting an urgent request for assistance from the public.
Authorities described Gantt as:
- 5 feet, 9 inches tall
- Approximately 150 pounds
- Blondish-white hair
She was last seen wearing:
- A pink shirt
- Dark gray pants
- Black tennis shoes
Deputies are asking anyone who has seen Gantt or knows where she may be to contact the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office by calling 911 immediately.
The search remains active, and investigators continue working to locate her safely.
Anyone in the Kingsport or Sullivan County area who may have traveled near Deck Valley Lane or Highway 11 West Tuesday morning is encouraged to check security camera footage or report any possible sightings to authorities.
