Bourbonnais, IL – One of Bourbonnais’ largest summer events is returning next month as organizers prepare to welcome thousands of visitors for a full day of food, music and family-friendly entertainment.
According to the Village of Bourbonnais, the 6th Annual Bourbonnais Food Truck Festival will take place on Saturday, Aug. 15, from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at The Grove, 700 Main St. NW.
Festival organizers say attendees can expect more than 20 food trucks, live music throughout the day, local performers, a Kidz Zone, free admission and free parking.
The event has become a popular end-of-summer tradition in Kankakee County, drawing residents from Bourbonnais, Bradley, Kankakee and surrounding communities.
Village officials are also seeking business sponsors for this year’s event, noting that sponsorship opportunities are still available but are filling quickly.
The Bourbonnais Food Truck Festival is designed as a family-friendly celebration featuring a wide variety of food vendors alongside entertainment for all ages.
