Monday brings another step upward, with highs approaching 78 degrees before temperatures accelerate into the mid-80s by Tuesday.

According to regional air quality officials, an Air Quality Alert continues for portions of East Los Angeles and Boyle Heights due to elevated fine particle pollution. Sensitive groups, including older adults, children, and people with respiratory conditions, should limit prolonged outdoor activity when air quality worsens.
Drivers along Interstate 5, Interstate 10, U.S. 101, and Interstate 710 should expect periods of reduced visibility during patchy morning fog through Monday. Conditions improve by afternoon as sunshine returns.
