Los Angeles, California – Warm, dry weather will continue across Southern California through the weekend, with gusty winds developing and inland temperatures climbing toward 90 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, afternoon highs will run 10 to 20 degrees above normal through Sunday. Inland areas including the San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and parts of Ventura County could see temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90°F, while coastal areas like Santa Monica and Oxnard remain cooler due to a persistent marine layer.

Winds will increase tonight into Friday morning, with northwest to northeast gusts reaching 25 to 35 mph. Another round of gusty southwest to west winds, potentially up to 40 mph, is expected Friday afternoon through the weekend across interior مناطق, which could impact travel on highways like I-5 and Highway 14.

Dry conditions combined with gusty winds may elevate fire weather concerns, especially in foothill and canyon areas.

Looking ahead, a cooling trend arrives early next week as a weak system moves into the West Coast, bringing a chance of light rain between Tuesday and Thursday. Most areas are expected to receive less than 0.50 inches, though mountains could see up to 0.75 inches.

Warm and breezy conditions will persist through the weekend, with additional updates expected as next week’s system approaches.
