Hartly, DE – A 31-year-old Hartly man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Kent County, prompting an ongoing investigation by Delaware State Police.

According to Delaware State Police, the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on May 3, 2026, Sunday, as a Ford F-350 was traveling northbound on Butterpat Road, just south of Bear Pond Road near Hartly, west of Dover. Preliminary findings indicate the truck failed to negotiate a curve, and the driver overcorrected. Police say the unrestrained driver was ejected from the vehicle during the ঘটনการณ์.
