Palm Beach County, Florida – A woman has been arrested in connection with a 2024 crash that killed three Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office motor deputies, marking a major development in a case that has drawn statewide attention.
According to the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV), the arrest stems from a November 21, 2024 crash that resulted in the deaths of three deputies. Following a lengthy investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol, officials determined the driver allegedly committed vehicular homicide.
Authorities identified the suspect as Corrine Adrianna Blue, who was taken into custody Wednesday under a felony arrest warrant issued by a 15th Judicial Circuit Court judge. She faces three counts of vehicular homicide in connection with the crash.
Officials say the investigation was extensive and involved a detailed review of evidence surrounding the incident. The crash claimed the lives of Corporal Luis Paez, Deputy Sheriff Ralph “Butch” Waller, and Deputy Sheriff Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, all of whom were serving as motor deputies at the time.
State officials emphasized the significance of the charges, noting they represent a key step in the judicial process. The case will now proceed through the courts, where a jury will ultimately determine the outcome.
In a statement, FLHSMV Executive Director Dave Kerner said the arrest reflects coordination between state agencies and prosecutors. State Attorney Alexcia Cox also noted the charges follow a thorough review of evidence and are aimed at seeking justice for the victims and their families.
Authorities say the case remains active as it moves into the next phase of prosecution.
