Hilo, Hawaii – Warmer-than-normal temperatures combined with persistent rainfall will continue to impact Hawaii through the weekend, with the Big Island facing the heaviest and most consistent downpours.
According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, temperatures across Hawaii are expected to run about 40 percent above normal probabilities through early next week, while above-normal precipitation continues statewide. This pattern keeps the islands locked into a warm and wet stretch.
On the Big Island, including Hilo and surrounding المناطق, frequent showers will continue, especially along windward slopes where rainfall totals will add up quickly. Localized flooding in low-lying areas and along smaller roadways remains possible during heavier bursts.
Honolulu and Oahu will also see periods of showers, though rainfall will be more intermittent compared to the Big Island. Maui and Kauai can expect a mix of warm temperatures and passing showers, with brief heavier pockets developing at times.
The combination of warmth and moisture will create humid conditions across the islands, especially during the afternoon hours. Residents should monitor for localized flooding, avoid water-covered roads, and prepare for reduced visibility during heavier rain.
This warm and wet pattern is expected to continue through early next week, with additional advisories possible as rainfall persists.
