Arizona’s desert heat is already building this morning, and by early afternoon, Phoenix streets will radiate triple-digit temperatures that can overwhelm the body in minutes.

According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, an Extreme Heat Warning remains in effect through Sunday evening, with highs reaching 105°F today and 102°F Sunday. Overnight lows only fall into the upper 60s to near 70°F, offering little relief. Dry air and light winds will allow heat to intensify तेजी across the metro, especially in urban corridors along I-10 and Loop 101.

Hydration and timing are critical. Limit outdoor activity to early morning hours and avoid peak heat between noon and 6 p.m. Vehicles can heat rapidly, and pavement temperatures may exceed 140°F. Never leave children or pets in cars. Workers and hikers should take frequent breaks and seek shaded or air-conditioned spaces.

By Monday, temperatures ease slightly to 98°F, though conditions remain hot. Tuesday, March 24, holds near 99°F with continued sunshine and dry air. The broader pattern keeps above-normal temperatures locked in across the Southwest through midweek, with highs returning near 102°F by Wednesday.

Even routine travel can become hazardous under extreme heat. Watch for overheating vehicles and carry extra water if driving long distances.
