Detroit, Mich. – A stretch of calm, seasonable weather is expected across southern Michigan during the spring break travel period, helping keep roads clear and reducing the risk of delays.

According to the National Weather Service Climate Prediction Center, southern Michigan will see near-normal temperatures from March 24 through March 30, with precipitation also trending near normal but limited in overall impact. This pattern supports extended dry periods with only brief, isolated rain chances.

Across Detroit, Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Kalamazoo, daytime highs will reach the upper 40s to mid-50s, with mornings dipping into the 30s. Major corridors including I-94, I-96, and I-75 are expected to remain mostly dry, supporting steady travel across the region.

Drivers should still watch for patchy morning fog and occasional damp spots on shaded roads, particularly in low-lying areas, but widespread hazards are not expected. Daytime travel will offer the best visibility and driving conditions.

For baseball fans across southern Michigan, including those following the Tigers, the opening stretch of the season should feature manageable weather, with light jackets likely sufficient.

This stable pattern is expected to hold through late March, with only minor changes possible heading into early April.
