WARREN, Mich. — A Detroit man was arrested after a narcotics investigation tied to a Detroit residence, authorities said.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the Sheriff’s Enforcement Team (SET) and the Warren Police Department executed search warrants Wednesday at a home in the 18000 block of Moenart Street in Detroit, near 7 Mile Road and Mound Road.

Investigators allege Roland White, 36, of Detroit, was distributing narcotics in and around Warren and Macomb County. White was taken into custody and lodged at the Macomb County Jail following the operation.

During the searches, detectives reported seizing multiple items connected to the investigation, including:

  • Approximately 5 grams of fentanyl
  • About 16 grams of crack cocaine
  • A Micro Draco firearm
  • A Bushmaster rifle reported stolen in Indiana
  • Magazines and ammunition
  • Approximately $1,971 in U.S. currency
  • A Chevrolet Tahoe

Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said the investigation reflects ongoing efforts to target drug trafficking operations in Macomb County.

“Those who choose to traffic narcotics in Macomb County should know that we are committed to aggressively investigating and holding them accountable,” Wickersham said in a statement. “The distribution of illegal drugs not only destroys lives but also threatens the safety of our neighborhoods.”

Warren Police Commissioner Eric Hawkins said the case highlights coordination between local and regional law enforcement units.

Authorities said the combined efforts of the Warren Police Department, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, and the Detroit Police Department helped identify and remove an individual allegedly distributing drugs within the community.

White was arraigned in Warren’s 37th District Court on several charges, including multiple counts of controlled substance delivery or manufacture, a weapons felony, maintaining a drug house, and fourth-degree child abuse.

Court records show bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety with a 10% option. White remains lodged at the Macomb County Jail.

The case remains under investigation.
