Semi-Truck Collision on U.S. Highway 20 in Chesterton, Indiana – No Injuries

Chesterton, IN – A roadway incident on U.S. Highway 20 involved a semi-truck carrying a white powdery substance, according to reports from the Chesterton Fire Department on Friday, November 17. 

The truck was involved in a collision with a passenger vehicle around 9:33 a.m., resulting in the semi overturning and subsequently catching fire. Local firefighters promptly addressed the blaze. Investigations by the Porter Police Department are ongoing to ascertain the specifics of the crash. 

There were no injuries reported as all parties refused medical attention at the scene.
