According to the National Weather Service in Sacramento, fog clears by midmorning with partly sunny skies and a high near 75 degrees today. Winds remain light, turning northwest around 5 mph this afternoon. It’s a classic Spring Tease across the Valley.
Clouds increase tonight with lows around 56. Saturday turns partly sunny and even warmer, with highs near 76. Outdoor plans look favorable through the first half of the weekend.
Changes arrive Sunday. Skies turn mostly cloudy with a slight 10 percent chance of rain after 4 p.m. Highs cool to around 68. Sunday night brings a 20 percent chance of rain before 10 p.m., then partial clearing with lows near 49. Roads could turn briefly damp, especially during evening travel.
Monday opens March on a milder but cooler note. Highs reach near 66 under partly sunny skies. Tuesday rebounds to near 68 with mostly sunny conditions.
Farther north, scattered showers affect parts of Northern California this weekend, but Sacramento avoids significant rainfall.
