Texas drivers are navigating pockets of fog and damp pavement across Houston this morning, where visibility dipped to 2 miles near Hobby Airport shortly after sunrise. Headlights cut through a gray haze, and some overpasses feel slick in shaded spots.

According to the National Weather Service, patchy fog will lift by midmorning, giving way to sunshine and a high near 83 degrees. Light northeast winds around 5 mph keep conditions calm through the afternoon. If you’re commuting along I-45 or the Gulf Freeway, allow extra space between vehicles until visibility fully improves.

Skies clear further this evening, with lows near 60 degrees. Saturday starts with more patchy fog before 9 a.m., then turns partly sunny and warm with highs around 81. Southeast winds increase slightly to 10 mph.

Clouds build Saturday night. By Sunday, mostly cloudy skies settle in, and temperatures ease to 79 degrees. A few gusts may top 20 mph during the afternoon. While widespread rain is not expected this weekend, moisture deepens heading into early next week.

Monday brings mostly sunny skies and highs near 80. By Tuesday afternoon, a 20 percent chance of showers develops. Midweek looks more unsettled, with scattered showers possible Wednesday and a better storm chance by Thursday as March begins with active Weather across Southeast Texas.

The 6–10 day outlook signals above-normal temperatures returning late next week. Spring Vibes are building steadily across the region.
