Nevada sunshine is already bright over the Strip, and cool desert air is fading fast as temperatures climb through the 50s this morning. By lunchtime, jackets will feel unnecessary. Pavement along I-15 and U.S. 95 heats quickly under clear skies.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, highs reach 75 degrees this afternoon with light and variable winds. Humidity remains low near 40 percent, keeping conditions dry and comfortable. Skies stay mostly clear tonight as temperatures dip to around 54 degrees.

The warming trend accelerates midweek. Highs push to 79 degrees Wednesday with full sun. By Thursday, temperatures reach near 81 degrees. Friday climbs again to about 83 degrees. Saturday peaks near 84 degrees under mostly sunny skies. That places Las Vegas well above late-February averages and firmly in early spring warmth territory.

Large day-to-night swings, nearly 30 degrees, will continue. Cool mornings in the 50s quickly flip to warm afternoons. Drivers heading out early should remain alert for isolated slick spots in shaded areas where irrigation runoff may refreeze before sunrise. Flash freezing can happen this time of year, even without storms.

No rain is expected through the period. Winds remain light, limiting travel impacts across Clark County.

Looking ahead, the 6–10 day outlook favors above-normal temperatures across southern Nevada into early next week. Spring vibes appear locked in as February winds down.
