Bedford, N.H. – A Sunday night saturation patrol on the F.E. Everett Turnpike led to 10 arrests and 68 citations, drawing a significant law enforcement response.

According to New Hampshire State Police, Troopers assigned to the Troop B barracks conducted more than 100 traffic stops during a high-visibility enforcement effort aimed at impaired and aggressive drivers. Police said 115 vehicles were stopped during the operation.

Among those arrested was Rene Johnson, 46, of Manchester, allegedly on an outstanding bench warrant. Nikkita Noy Thouithiasong, 21, of Nashua, was allegedly charged with suspended registration. William Hurd, 37, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, was allegedly charged with operating after suspension, subsequent offense, and license required violations.

David LaPierre, 63, of Lyndeborough, was allegedly charged with domestic violence – simple assault. Mason Tanner, 19, of Nashua, was allegedly charged with possession of more than three-quarters of an ounce of marijuana, transporting drugs in a motor vehicle, and speeding more than 26 mph over the limit.

Other arrests included charges ranging from reckless driving to operating after suspension and open container violations, according to police.

State Police said enforcement efforts like this will continue to improve roadway safety across New Hampshire.
