Nevada air feels sharp and biting across Reno this morning, with temperatures hovering near 31 degrees and patches of frost clinging to shaded pavement.

Skies turn partly sunny through the day, and temperatures rebound quickly. Highs climb to around 55 degrees this afternoon under calm winds. That rapid warmup will melt any early frost, but drivers should remain cautious on bridges and overpasses along I-80 where slick spots can linger early.

Clouds increase tonight with lows near 36 degrees. A slight chance of rain develops toward morning, though most areas remain dry.

By Tuesday, a 30 percent chance of rain arrives mainly during the afternoon. Highs reach near 57 degrees with southwest breezes between 5 and 15 mph. Tuesday night brings a better chance of showers, about 40 percent, with lows near 43 degrees.

Wednesday teases a noticeable shift. A slight chance of rain lingers early, then sunshine builds with highs near 60 degrees. Wednesday night cools to around 33 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Any leftover moisture could refreeze briefly before sunrise, so watch for isolated icy patches.

Thursday turns mostly sunny and milder, with highs near 62. Friday continues the warming trend with highs near 65 degrees and partial sunshine. No significant snow is expected in the valley, though Sierra snow levels remain elevated near 7,000 feet.

Looking ahead, the 6–10 day outlook favors above-normal temperatures into early next week. Spring warmth appears ready to strengthen across western Nevada.
