Madison, Maine – Two Madison residents were arrested Friday after authorities seized more than 48 grams of suspected fentanyl during a drug search warrant on Ingalls Street.

According to the Somerset County Sheriff’s Office, the Criminal Division executed the warrant at approximately 6:25 a.m. following what officials described as a lengthy investigation into alleged illegal drug sales from the residence.

Detectives and patrol deputies conducted the search, where authorities say they located over 48 grams of suspected fentanyl along with illegal drug-related documentation, digital scales and drug paraphernalia.

Lucas Gage, 36, of Madison, was arrested on two outstanding arrest warrants out of Brunswick for unrelated criminal matters. Bail on those warrants is set at $500 each, totaling $1,000.

Sabrina Madore, 33, of Madison, was also arrested on an outstanding warrant from Somerset County for an unrelated criminal matter. Her bail is set at $300.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, criminal charges related to the alleged drug seizure are forthcoming pending review by the Somerset County District Attorney’s Office and confirmation testing by the state laboratory.

Officials did not report any injuries during the operation.

The residence is located in a neighborhood area of Madison, and law enforcement activity early Friday morning may have drawn attention from nearby residents and commuters.
