Hobbs, New Mexico – Southwest winds gusting up to 50 mph will continue across Lea County and parts of West Texas through late afternoon, creating difficult driving conditions and blowing dust.
According to the National Weather Service in Midland/Odessa, a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. MST in New Mexico and 6 p.m. CST in Texas. Sustained southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph will produce peak gusts near 50 mph.
