According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, southwest winds increase to 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph through this evening. The advisory covers Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Monroe, and surrounding counties.
High-profile vehicles will feel the push on I-75, I-94, and the Lodge Freeway. Secure trash bins and outdoor furniture now.
Rain showers early may mix with wet snow at times as temperatures hover in the upper 30s to near 47 degrees before falling late day. While no significant accumulation is expected today, brief bursts of light snow remain possible this evening.
