Indiana – Dark clouds roll low over Fort Wayne this morning, and the air feels heavy ahead of fast-moving storms.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning was issued earlier for parts of northeast Indiana, including areas near Fort Wayne. Radar indicated quarter-size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph. Storms are racing northeast around 35 mph. If thunder roars, move indoors immediately.

Rain remains likely through early afternoon, with patchy fog reducing visibility at times. Temperatures climb toward 59 degrees before cooler air filters in later today. South winds increase, adding to the unsettled feel.

Additional strong storms may redevelop this afternoon and into the evening, especially south of US-30. Gusty winds and hail remain the primary threats. While tornado risk is low, it cannot be ruled out entirely. Stay weather-aware through the evening commute.

Tonight, rain continues before 1 a.m., then tapers to scattered showers. Lows fall near 39 degrees. Wet roads will linger into Friday morning.

Friday turns breezy with a high near 48, but temperatures drop through the afternoon. Winds could gust up to 40 mph. Friday night becomes partly cloudy and colder, with lows around 30.

Saturday brings partial sunshine and a high near 41. By Saturday night, colder air deepens. A slight chance of snow develops after 1 a.m.

Sunday features mostly cloudy skies with a 40 percent chance of snow. Highs reach just 37 degrees. Light snow showers Sunday night could create slick spots as temperatures fall into the 20s. Watch for flash freezing on untreated roads.

Monday looks partly sunny and colder, with highs near 34. A gradual warming trend arrives midweek, with highs pushing into the upper 40s and beyond. Hints of Spring Warmth build toward late next week.
