After 10 p.m., rain may mix with or briefly change to snow as temperatures drop toward 32 degrees. Less than a half inch of accumulation is possible.
Drivers along I-99 and U.S. 322 should prepare for wet pavement by early evening. If snow mixes in overnight, bridges and elevated ramps could turn slick quickly. This is prime time for late-winter flash freezing when temperatures hover near the freezing mark.
Monday stays mostly cloudy with highs near 45 degrees. Tuesday brings a modest rebound, reaching 48 under partly sunny skies. Another round of rain develops Wednesday, with precipitation chances rising to 80 percent and highs near 45. Showers may linger into Wednesday night before partial clearing Thursday with highs around 50.
No major snowstorm is expected this week, but small temperature swings in February can create outsized travel impacts. Keep coats and umbrellas handy, and allow extra time if roads turn slushy after dark.
