Indianapolis, Indiana – Four people were arrested after officers allegedly found guns and drugs during a probation compliance check on the city’s north side.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s North District, officers with the Violence Reduction Team and Violent Crimes Task Force assisted Marion County Community Corrections on Thursday, February 12, during a compliance check at a home in the 5900 block of Keystone Avenue.

Police said one occupant of the residence was on probation and prohibited from possessing firearms. When officers entered the home, they reported locating contraband and firearms. The compliance check was halted, and a search warrant was requested and later granted.

During a subsequent search of the residence, officers allegedly seized six firearms, a machine gun conversion device, approximately 2 grams of suspected fentanyl pressed pills, and about six pounds of suspected marijuana. Drug dealing paraphernalia, including scales and money counters, was also recovered, according to IMPD.

Adrian Stewart, 26, was arrested on preliminary charges including dealing marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Nylquie Blair, 24, and Kevin O’Neal, 24, were arrested on preliminary charges including possession of a machine gun and dealing marijuana. Alexis Williams, 25, was arrested on a preliminary charge of visiting a common nuisance.

The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office will make final charging decisions. An arrest is merely an accusation, and all suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.

Young residents and families in the Keystone Avenue corridor may notice increased police activity as the investigation continues.
