LIBERTYVILLE, IL – A significant disruption occurred on northbound Route 45, just past Peterson Road Wednesday.
A truck collided with an overpass, resulting in substantial damage. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
The Lake County IL Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the road will remain closed for the next few hours as cleanup efforts ensue. Local commuters are advised to seek alternative routes and exercise patience.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
