Aberdeen, Washington – A 36-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested Wednesday after detectives seized fentanyl and methamphetamine while serving a search warrant on the 1100 block of Lafayette Street.

According to the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office, the Grays Harbor Drug Task Force, assisted by deputies and officers from the Hoquiam and Aberdeen police departments, executed the warrant February 11 as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

Detectives reported conducting multiple controlled purchases of illegal narcotics from the primary resident prior to the warrant. As a result of those efforts, two individuals were taken into custody at the residence.

The primary suspect, identified by authorities as a 36-year-old Aberdeen man, was allegedly arrested on multiple counts of delivery of a controlled substance and booked into the Grays Harbor County Jail.

During the search, investigators seized approximately 52 grams of fentanyl and 363 grams of methamphetamine, along with additional evidence consistent with narcotics distribution, according to the sheriff’s office.

The Grays Harbor Drug Task Force said it continues to investigate individuals involved in the sale and distribution of illegal narcotics in the county. Officials stated the operation was part of ongoing efforts to reduce drug-related crime and enhance community safety.

The case remains under investigation.
