According to a Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026 statement from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, deputies initially responded Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, to a report of a robbery near the intersection of Fairfax Road and Shirley Lane in Lamont.

Investigators said two masked male suspects allegedly approached a 17-year-old victim and robbed the juvenile at gunpoint for jewelry. Authorities said the suspects fled the area in a vehicle driven by a third individual.

Following an investigation, deputies from the Sheriff’s Office South Area Substations, assisted by the Gang Suppression Section, served search warrants at three locations: the 1200 block of Royal Street in Arvin, the 7500 block of Brett Avenue in Lamont, and the 3100 block of Coventry Drive in Bakersfield.

Officials said Exaltacio Natividad Navarro, 20, of Bakersfield, and Allison Michel Lozano, 19, of Arvin, were arrested in connection with the case. A 17-year-old juvenile from Arvin was also taken into custody.

Navarro and Lozano were booked into the Lerdo Justice Facility. The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the suspects allegedly face charges including assault with a firearm, robbery, willful cruelty to a child, conspiracy, and a felony firearm enhancement.
