Las Vegas, Nevada – Increasing winds and cooler temperatures are expected across Southern Nevada early next week, potentially affecting travel along Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 95.

According to the National Weather Service in Las Vegas, periods of clouds and sunshine will continue through the end of the week before winds begin ramping up next week. While no major storm system is currently forecast, breezier conditions could develop across the Las Vegas Valley and surrounding desert corridors.

High temperatures in Las Vegas are projected to remain in the upper 60s through the weekend, with daytime highs ranging from 66 to 69 degrees. Overnight lows are expected to dip into the upper 40s. By early next week, temperatures are forecast to trend cooler, with highs falling closer to the lower 60s and overnight lows settling in the mid to upper 40s.
