Miami, Florida – A gradual warming trend will push afternoon highs near 80 degrees along the I-95 corridor by Sunday and Monday.
According to the National Weather Service in Miami, daily high temperatures across South Florida will continue reaching the upper 70s through the remainder of the week, with some inland and metro areas potentially touching 80 degrees over the weekend.
Forecast highs Wednesday and Thursday range from 75 to 78 degrees across Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach. By Sunday and Monday, temperatures are expected to climb into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees, including near 79 in Boca Raton and 80 in portions of Palm Beach County.
Inland communities such as Immokalee could see temperatures peak near 83 degrees Sunday, while Naples is forecast to remain in the mid to upper 70s.
Drivers along Interstate 95 from Miami through West Palm Beach and Interstate 75 across southwest Florida should anticipate warm afternoon conditions, especially during peak travel hours.
Overnight lows are projected to remain in the 60s, offering mild evenings across the region.
The warming trend reflects a broader pattern of stable, dry conditions across South Florida heading into next week. No significant rain or hazardous weather is currently expected during this period.
Students, outdoor workers, and commuters may notice warmer afternoons compared to recent days, particularly over the weekend.
