Florida commuters are driving through pockets of patchy fog this morning as temperatures sit at 56 degrees near Orlando Executive Airport. Visibility remains steady for now, but low clouds and damp air could briefly thicken along I-4 and the 408 during the early drive.

According to the National Weather Service in Melbourne, skies turn partly sunny today with highs climbing to 76 degrees. West-southwest winds stay light at 5 to 10 mph. Patchy fog redevelops late tonight as temperatures fall to 57 degrees under increasing clouds.

Thursday brings a 20 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., with highs again near 75 degrees. Spotty showers may briefly dampen roads, especially east of downtown Orlando. Most neighborhoods stay dry, but keep an umbrella handy if you’re out in the afternoon.

Friday looks mostly sunny and warm, reaching 76 degrees. Valentine’s Weekend turns even warmer. Saturday peaks near 79 degrees with only a slight shower chance. By Sunday, moisture increases. Showers become likely after 1 p.m., and a few thunderstorms could develop late. Highs reach 82 degrees before rain-cooled air settles in Sunday night.

No winter chill here, but rapid temperature swings and humidity shifts can still create slick spots during brief downpours. Plan outdoor events earlier in the weekend for the driest weather.

Looking ahead, early next week stays mild with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Long-range trends show above-average warmth expanding across much of the country, with central states trending 10 to 20 degrees above normal.
