Fort Worth, Texas – Mild temperatures and quiet weather conditions are continuing across North and Central Texas this weekend.
According to the US National Weather Service in Fort Worth, a weak cold front is moving through the region Saturday, bringing slightly cooler air to central and northeast Texas counties. Despite the frontal passage, overall conditions are expected to remain pleasant and dry, with high pressure in the upper atmosphere maintaining control.
Saturday afternoon highs are forecast to range from the mid-60s to upper 70s, with temperatures near 70 degrees in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. Cities farther south and west, including areas near Waco, Killeen, and Cisco, may reach the mid to upper 70s, while locations north of U.S. 75 and along the Red River remain slightly cooler.
By Sunday, temperatures are expected to rebound further, with widespread highs climbing into the mid to upper 70s across much of the region. Forecast highs include 77 degrees in DFW, 76 in Waco, and low 80s near Graham, reflecting continued influence from high pressure.
Winds are expected to remain light, and no precipitation is forecast, making for favorable travel conditions along major roadways including Interstate 35, I-20, and U.S. 75. The lack of rain and stable weather pattern also reduces the risk of travel delays or weather-related hazards.
Meteorologists note that this stretch of dry, mild weather is typical of transitional winter patterns in North Texas and does not pose any immediate safety concerns.
These conditions may be especially beneficial for commuters, outdoor workers, students, and weekend travelers, as road and weather impacts remain minimal.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the favorable weather while continuing to monitor official forecasts for any changes heading into next week.
