Pueblo, Colorado – Above-normal temperatures and dry conditions are expected to continue across southern Colorado today, supporting favorable travel and outdoor conditions.
According to the National Weather Service in Pueblo, highs today are forecast to reach the upper 50s to lower 60s across much of the lower elevations, including Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and the Arkansas Valley. Temperatures are expected to remain warmer than average through much of the extended forecast period.
Dry weather will dominate today and into early next week, limiting travel concerns along major corridors such as Interstate 25, U.S. Highway 50, and State Highway 96. Clear roads and mild daytime conditions are expected, particularly during the afternoon hours when temperatures peak.
Forecasters note that the warm and dry pattern will persist through Monday. However, a slight cooldown is expected Tuesday into Wednesday as a weak weather system moves through the region. This system may bring brief chances for rain or snow, mainly across higher elevations, though impacts are expected to remain limited at this time.
Maximum temperature forecasts show Pueblo reaching the low 60s today, followed by slightly cooler but still seasonable conditions early next week. Mountain areas will remain cooler, with fluctuating temperatures depending on elevation and cloud cover.
The National Weather Service emphasizes that no widespread hazards are expected during the warm stretch. Still, residents should remain aware of forecast updates as conditions shift midweek.
The mild weather may be especially noticeable for commuters, students, and outdoor workers across Pueblo County and surrounding communities, offering a break from typical early-February cold before more variable conditions return.
