Another driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while a passenger in the same vehicle was listed in critical condition.
According to authorities, the driver who was ejected is expected to survive. The driver of a third involved vehicle was also taken to an area hospital for treatment of suspected injuries.
Multiple agencies responded to assist, including the Wisconsin State Patrol, Oshkosh Fire Department, Southern Winnebago EMS, the Town of Nekimi 1st Responders and Fire Department, and Van Dyne 1st Responders and Fire Department.
County Road N remained closed for several hours as investigators worked to reconstruct the crash. The Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office said the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
