By Wednesday night, colder air filters in behind the rain. Temperatures dip into the mid-30s, and snow levels lower to around 2,200 feet. While valley snow is unlikely, nearby foothills could see flakes, and bridges may turn slick late.
Thursday brings lingering showers early, then gradual improvement. Highs remain in the mid-40s, keeping a raw Winter feel. As skies partially clear Thursday night, patchy frost becomes possible, especially in sheltered neighborhoods and rural areas.
Looking toward the weekend, conditions turn drier and slightly milder. Highs climb toward 50 by Friday and Saturday, though cold nights persist with frost still a concern. Daylight continues to increase through January, offering brighter evenings despite the chilly start to 2026.
