KANKAKEE, Ill. – Police rushed to the scene in the 500 block of N Indiana Avenue where they found a man stabbed in the street Friday night.

Officers arrived just before midnight to find a man lying on his back in the roadway, with a serious stab wound to his stomach. 

No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. The victim was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital for immediate medical attention. However, there is currently no information available regarding his current condition.
