Clifton, CO – Firefighters in Clifton responded to a reported structure fire on the 3200 block of D 3/4 Road around 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, October 14, 2025, according to the Clifton Fire Protection District.

Engine 21, Truck 21, Ambulance 22, and Mesa County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to find light smoke coming from a residence. Chief 22 assumed command while crews from Engine 21 made entry into the home. An additional engine from the Grand Junction Fire Department was called to assist as a precaution.

The fire was brought under control within minutes of Engine 22’s arrival, officials said. While the home sustained fire and smoke damage, no civilian or firefighter injuries were reported.
