Shreveport Weather: Patchy Fog Early Friday, Sunny Skies and Highs Near 90 Through Next Week

Shreveport, La. – Drivers in Shreveport may encounter patchy fog through early Friday morning before skies clear and temperatures rise into the mid-80s. The quiet stretch of weather is expected to carry across northwest Louisiana through much of next week.

According to the National Weather Service in Shreveport, calm winds and high humidity will contribute to reduced visibility in some areas before 8 a.m. Friday. By the afternoon, skies turn sunny with highs near 85 degrees. Nighttime lows will dip into the lower 60s under clear conditions, offering cooler relief before warmer afternoons return.

The weekend will bring consistent sunshine with highs near 86 to 88 degrees Saturday and Sunday. Winds shift slightly northeast but remain light, keeping conditions dry. Overnight lows will remain in the low 60s, supporting comfortable evenings.

By Monday, temperatures edge higher, nearing 88 degrees, with mostly sunny skies lasting into Tuesday. Patchy clouds may appear Monday night, but rain chances stay near zero.

The National Weather Service notes this dry stretch will hold into midweek, with highs close to 90 by Thursday. Residents should remain mindful of early morning fog, especially on rural highways.
