BOURBONNAIS – Gas prices across the county remain around $4 this week for the third week in a row. Statewide, gas prices average $4.42, down .21 cents from last week.
In Kankakee County, Gas remains in a 90 cent spread with the average price $4.24 per gallon, well below the statewide average. According to GasBuddy; the highest recorded Tuesday morning at $4.69 per gallon and cheapest at $3.79 per gallon.

The cheapest gas locally Tuesday was Gulf located at 1184 N. Convent and Bonds Dr, selling at $3.79 per gallon.
The highest price in Kankakee County Tuesday was $4.14 per gallon at BP on Route 45 in Manteno.
The highest price locally Tuesday was Circle K located at 700 Oriole Dr and Wilmington Road in Peotone selling at $4.69 per gallon.
According to AAA, nationally gas was recorded at $4.03 per gallon Tuesday.
