Doty, WA – Authorities in Lewis County are asking for the public’s help after more than a dozen goats were killed in what investigators are calling a malicious attack.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, the incidents occurred between July 25 and August 28 in the 500 block of Elk Creek Road, near Doty. Deputies said approximately 13 goats of varying ages were killed during this time.

The sheriff’s office has not released details about how the animals were killed, but investigators believe it was an intentional act. Officials are urging residents in the area to remain alert and report any suspicious activity.
