WILMINGTON, Ohio – Southwest Ohio is set for a stretch of dry, sunny weather with warm afternoons reaching the upper 80s by early next week. Residents across Clinton County can expect comfortable nights but increasingly hot days as temperatures rise into the high 80s by Monday and Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service in Wilmington, skies will remain mostly clear with calm to light winds through the weekend. Friday brings a high near 83 degrees, while Saturday warms into the mid-80s. Sunday and Monday will be the hottest days, climbing to 87 and 89 degrees, respectively. Overnight lows will stay mild, ranging from the lower 50s Friday night to the low 60s early next week.

Outdoor plans, festivals, and sporting events across southwest Ohio should have ideal weather, though residents may want sunscreen and extra water with highs nearing 90.
